What do the Registration Fees Cover?:

Note: Provincial Tournament Fees are not included.

Player Acceptance
Players are not considered accepted until full payment is received by the Registrar and any outstanding balance from a previous season is settled.
Payment Options
Payment can be made by Cheque, Visa or MasterCard.
Cheques - Payment must be received by the Registrar by September 3, 2010.
Visa or MasterCard - Payment is processed immediately.
Payment Privacy Policy
All aspects of ITSportsNet’s on-line registration uses 128-bit encryption, which is the same level of security as on-line banking. In addition, all credit card transactions are processed live and no credit card information is ever stored on our system. Please print the receipt that appears on your screen at the end of on-line registration.
NSF Cheques
NSF cheques are subject to a $30.00 administration fee.
New Players
If you did not play for BMBA in either of the two previous MBA seasons, you are a “New Player”.
Please register before the deadline of September 3, 2010. New Players will only be accepted if there is space available in their respective age category. Returning Players registered by September 3, 2010 will have priority over New Players.
In the event that we are unable to accommodate all players due to shortage of coaches, gym availability, etc., all New Players will normally be accepted on a first come, first serve basis and the surplus players’ names will be put on a waiting list. Players not accepted will receive a full refund.
All New Players must (mandatory) provide Proof of Age at Try-outs. Acceptable documents include a photocopy of: Birth Certificate, Driver’s License, Health Card, or Passport.
REFUNDS
A fee of $30.00 will be applicable to withdraws prior to the start of the season. After the start of the season, refunds will not be permitted. (Please note: In extenuating circumstances (e.g. injury), a partial refund may be provided; subject to a majority vote by the BMBA Executive.)
High School Refunds
If a player has registered by September 3, 2010 and they make a High School Division 1 or 2 Team, a fee of $30.00 will be applicable to withdraws.
Please register by September 3, 2010. If a player is not registered by September 3, 2010 and they do not make a High School Division 1 or 2 Team, there may not be space available.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
HRM Kids offers financial assistance. Applications are processed by HRM and can be picked up at the LeBrun Centre in Bedford. Those applying for financial assistance must notify BMBA’s Registrar of their application.
Please Note: Extra fees such as the uniform deposit and the rep teams’ extra gym fees are not covered under financial assistance.
UNIFORM DEPOSIT
A uniform deposit is required from all Returning & New players (except TOTS).
Uniform deposits cheques will be collected at Try-outs.
Please Note: At the end of the season, if the uniform is not returned, the cheque will be cashed. If the uniform is returned, the cheque will be destroyed (shredded).
REP TEAMS
There are competitive (Rep) teams in the Jr. Mini, Mini, Bantam & Midget divisions.
Players who are selected through the try-out process for Rep Teams (Division 1 or 2) receive one extra practice per week and will be required to pay a fee of approximately $160.00 for the extra gym time. Payment information will follow after Try-outs.
Please Note: All rep players must pay the extra gym time fee prior to the start of the season to avoid suspension.
